Before the renovation this was a cozy, friendly, good food place- now?... it's lost all appeal. It's loud, has terrible service ( our waitress was wearing slippers!) and the food is way below expectations. My family and I have frequented YinHai since 1992 and have enjoyed the family oriented atmosphere plus the great food. I'm truly sorry to see all that has passed since the reopening.
Missed them so much. Then had to wait forever just to be able to get in to find parking. So far been twice since reopened and it's still the best. Nice building and everyone still super nice.
Before this place was rebuilt I was a serious regular. Its close to home and the food is excellent. I can feed my family of 4 for about $20 .The owners are so wonderful. Always fulfill my order. Never had a order wrong or with mistakes.I do sometimes have to wait a bit for my order but worth the wait. Now that its been rebuilt its beautiful inside. People are gathering from around to eat here. Order takes a little longer but still worth it. Yinhai I love your food. Glad u r back.
Not sure what the local people see in this place. Spent $28 on a togo order and I left them an $8 tip. General chicken was over fried and chewy. Crab Rangoon was cook in "burnt oil". they should filter that fryer every night or stop using Jiffy Lube motor oil to fry there food. I'm not your topical "non tipping black person". I make it a point to let any restaurant I go to that I am a Great tipper. First time here in this town and my last time eating at this place. Keep on (Trucking)
It has been remodeled so it's nice inside. I would suggest ordering ahead by phone if you want take out. It took quite awhile to get the order. Food is good.
