I have heard others say they had a good experience here, and that's what I expected. I was so wrong. The nurses were fairly rude and didn't listen to my needs whatsoever. I barely asked for anything, but never had a pleasant experience when I did. Just not friendly people. The anesthesiologist was awful awful awful. The epidural did not work the first time nor the second. He touched my legs and asked if I could feel it. I said yes and made it clear the epidural wasn't working. He simply said it was and left the room. How absolutely off-putting. I wished my birth experience were better. It's something you're supposed to treasure and it was very distracting having a team that didn't have a lick of bedside manner. Ridiculous.
Have had to go to this ER on three occasions. Once for high fever after chemo, another time for thumb injury (untreatable at local med center), and another during a really bad gall bladder attack. Each time I was admitted within a couple of minutes and care was very good. During two extended in-hospital stays, I had excellent care and facilities are very nice.
I have regular visits to the hospital for lab work and the check in and processing are very fast; blood draw normally within 15 to 20 min. of arrival.
Big Hands You're NOT the One!

Looks to me like the good reviews are fake on this. The reason is because all the bad ones people are really sharing their experience here. Where as most of the good reviews are just staff putting more stars with nothing to say I give this a thumbs down you should take care of your patients better shame on you! I was supposed to come here but now I think not. After reviewing Dr Caron Warnsby, MD This is a copy Google User
My 4 year son fell on his arm on Friday night. We were in the ER at 8 am Saturday am. They took x-rays and told us he fractured both bones in his left arm. They basically gave him a ace wrap and sling and told us to call our family doctor on Monday for a cast. My family Dr said I'd have to see Orthopedics. I called them at 7:30am Monday, and was told they could see us Thur. I thought that was unacceptable to leave a child with a broken bone unseen and uncasted that long. They said they would send a urgent message to the Dr. I never heard back until I called them back at almost noon. I was told Thur again because a doctor left and the one still there has to see everyone. I was told that noone else could see and cast my miserable 4 year-old. I find that hard to believe. Unfortunately this same thing happened to us in 2014 when my son broke his leg. No cast in ER and can't be seen for days at Ortho. I called Coldwater Orthopedics and was seen Monday and casted within an hour. I am appalled at the carelessness of Oaklawn. I am an elected city official in Marshall and I will be driving out of town the next time I need anything more than well child visits. So sad.
This woman should be under review for malpractice! It is hard to believe that so many patients have suffered in her hands and she goes unpunished. I sincerely hope she is held accountable here on earth. No one is perfect, but this Dr. ruins lives. Please stay away from this surgeon. These days it is our own responsibility to confirm credentials and competence. Continue your search! If this is the truth then I hope this can be fixed.
This is my family's first choice in hospitals. Great staff, nice facilities. Overall great experiences.
